ALL ABOUT US
Amanda's Spaniels was started by me, Amanda, and my family(husband Craig and our two daughters, that is us in the picture above from one of our family vacations.)
We are a small-time hobby Dog Breeder based in Jacksonville Texas. I have been breeding American Cocker Spaniels since 2018 and cockapoos since 2023
Puppies are born inside and given lots of love and attention from day one.
The puppies are socialized with children (our daughters and all of our nieces and nephews ages range from 2-12) and introduced to our other dogs and our cat.
We strive to breed the best puppies we can, educate their new owners, offer lifetime breeder support for all of our puppies and ensure these precious babies get the love, care and attention they deserve.

OUR HISTORY
I have been asked this before “What made you decide on cocker spaniels?”
This dog pictured above, his name is Bailey. He is my grumpy old man but I love him so much, he was my 1st baby. He is 10 years old as of 2021. I adopted him at just 3 months olds from my local pound about a year after I graduated from high school and I fell in love with the breed! He is truly the best dog. And he is the reason I decided to breed cocker spaniels. I believe that everyone should get the chance to love a cocker spaniel. Because I do believe they are one of the best dog breeds.
So my breeding program It all started with just two dogs, Lady and Steffan. My husband surprised me with Lady after telling me no we didn’t need her when I found her breeder and showed him pictures of Lady as a baby, then when he got home from work with this adorable little white and buff parti puppy I was so happy and surprised! And honestly at that point I wasn’t even sure if I was going to breed I was just so happy that I found another cocker spaniel to love.
Then I got Steffan at 6 months old. I found him online posted by his breeder due to his original owner having to rehome him for personal reasons. And I fell in love with his face and we went and got him on my birthday, brought him home and from that moment on Steffan and Lady were always together.
INFO ABOUT
COCKER SPANIELS
This is straight from the AKC website, link to the AKC website is above: "Those big, dark eyes; that sweet expression; those long, lush ears that practically demand to be touched—no wonder the Cocker spent years as America’s most popular breed. The Cocker is the AKC’s smallest sporting spaniel, standing about 14 to 15 inches. The coat comes in enough colors and patterns to please any taste. The well-balanced body is sturdy and solid, and these quick, durable gundogs move with a smooth, easy gait.
Cockers are eager playmates for kids and are easily trained as companions and athletes. They are big enough to be sporty, but compact enough to be portable. A Cocker in full coat rewards extra grooming time by being the prettiest dog on the block. These energetic sporting dogs love playtime and brisk walks."

**UPDATE** 1/31/2021
I currently have two waitlists. A deposit waitlist and a non-deposit waitlist. I will go down my deposit waitlist 1st then go to the non-deposit waitlist; I currently have over 40 people on my non-deposit list but I will not be adding any more people to my non-deposit waitlist due to the high number of people that don’t ever message me back when I reach out to them about a puppy. You are wasting my time and other people’s time who are serious about getting a puppy. If you have already found a puppy then you can just tell me I won't be upset. if you no longer are looking for a puppy then just tell me it won't hurt my feelings.
So from now on if you would like to be placed on my waitlist I will require a deposit to show you are serious about getting a puppy. The deposit is $200.
Price for puppies is based on registration type(limited or full)
